The Mediterranean Sea, you might ask?
My answer would be, No!
This is Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe.
For the perfect African cruise, with the BIG 5 on
your door step, there is no place like it!
LET ME TELL YOUR MORE!!!
The cruises are conducted in V-hull & catermerang house boats. All the boats have experienced crew members (captain, boatsman & chef) that are well trained and offer a proffessional service to all their guests. Guests have 2 options, namely catered service or self-catering. The crew members are part of the house boat and do not depend on the catering service that you choose. All the vessels have on-board ablutions and hot water.

House boats can be boarded at Kariba in the Eastern Basin, or Mlibizi in the Western Basin of the Lake. Vessels can accommodate 4 - 40 guests at a time. Duration of cruises are designed around guests requirements. Whole Vessels are charted on a daily rate, which when divided between guests on board, make the charter rates affordable for all.
There are many bays throughout the lake, where the vessels bank each night. This means every morning your window opens to a new world. There are daily opportunities for guests to go game veiwing with the tender vessels that are towed by the house boats. The big five and more, wonder across the shores of the lake, posing for picture perfect potographic opportunties. Let us not forget the eternal fisherman - time can be well used to cast a few lines into the lake for the migthy TIGER fish & bream that the lake offers.
